At a time when art programs in the schools keep getting cut, Urban Art forum, Inc. has sprung up in Little Havana, to fill the hole that a life without art can create. Working primarily with the young and elderly, Urban Art Forum has helped countless people grow visually, mentally and emotionally through classes and after school art programs.
Presently, Urban Art Forum is looking for sponsors to bring about its year round art classes including: visual arts, music, dance, and drama to a group of 150 children from the Little Havana community and surrounding areas.
Well known Cuban artist Gonzalo Borges, has donated The Goddess of Copper, a beautifully rendered version of La Caridad del Cobre, media- acrylic on canvas -measuring 24”x36”.
You can purchase a framed 8.5”x11” Giclée on canvas of the Goddess of Copper for only $50.00 + $8.00 shipping as a tax deductible contribution to help fund the after school art program.
